Read a site the address bar can't reach

Browsers forbid one site from reading another site's HTML, so when a direct fetch is refused, capture the markup from inside the page instead. Copy the line below into a new bookmark, then click that bookmark on the site you want to read.

  1. Copy the code, make a new bookmark, paste it as the URL.
  2. Open the client's site and click the bookmark — it copies the live, fully rendered DOM.
  3. Come back, press Markup, paste, and Recreate & read.

This is the higher-fidelity route anyway: it captures the page after its scripts have run, so single-page apps and anything rendered client-side come through as a user actually meets them.
